"This is actually one of the first songs I wrote for the album. I had the lyrics when we were still touring Heartthrob; we met so many fans that year and got to hear a lot of their stories and backgrounds, and that really inspired me. Something that we were told a lot was how our music helps people to get through difficult times, that we provide an escape for them when they feel like they have no one else to turn to because they feel like they don't fit in anywhere. That really affected me, especially because personally, we never really struggled with that growing up, so I could only imagine how awful that must feel. The song talks about someone who is struggling with their own identity and getting accepted for it, and I really hope that it can have a message that tells especially young people that it's okay to be different you don't necessarily have to fit in. We also made a video for this song that tries to show that as well." - Tegan
4. Straight Backward
"'Straight Backward' is a bit similar to 'Youth' because it also talks about self-acceptance, but more in regards to your sexuality. We've never had a song that deals with that topic so explicitly, but it felt like it was time to change that, because the fact that we're gay is a part of who we are and our band and it matters to people. I wanted this to be an empowering song but not in a cheesy way, more like I'm looking back on what I went through growing up fifteen years ago and feeling okay about it now, and telling people who are going through that right now that it won't matter for them fifteen years from now either, so they shouldn't be too hard on themselves and just do what feels right for them, take their time, and not let other people get to them." - Sara
Before the official release, the singer released the BTS video of Gold. She is seen in a black suit being sad and crying. She said: "My main inspiration for the video is Gwen Stefani, as well as No Doubt. I think she is a fashion icon and I think that the 'It's My Life' video inspired me.

Christina Aguilera performs on X Factor UK
The singer performed Rise to the audience on X Factor. She was dressed in a red dress and she stood in the "hell" where she was bullied but at the end she rose above the stage which meant she is in heaven now.

After the wax figure being revealed to the public yesterday the singer decided to take the stage to perform Talk To Me and Rise. The perfomrances were simple as she stood on the stage and killed the audience with her vocals
Look girls, i'm gonna confess something. After this week I might give up Katy.. She's my number one fave and I made her flop...so hard. I can't watch this happen, i've been so busy and the promo has been so ****ing messy.. I don't want her to suffer. if anyone wants her let me know and i'll think about it. I've been busy all week and school is next week. She deserves better and I'm tired of being a flop. I don't want to but I need to I don't know anymore
Boys' Love Records recording artist Willow has been on somewhat of a hiatus these last few weeks, seemingly random considering she had just released her debut single, "Ready For The Dancefloor".
The song, unfortunately, did not get to chart, and has been deemed by her fan as a "promo single".
Willow has since announced that she will be releasing a new single (which will hopefully chart), and an album to go along with.
The album itself is called "Aurora", and the standard-edition tracklist is below:
1. Illuminate Me (4:02) 2. Silver Line (3:39) 3. Ready For The Dancefloor (3:06) 4. Eclectic (3:30) 5. Hot Streak (feat. Ke$ha) (5:06) 6. The Melody of Chaos (Interlude) (0:45) 7. Worlds Apart (feat. Kim Hyun Joong) (4:33) 8. Ricochet (feat. Skrillex) (4:15) 9. Mega (feat. Jigglypuff) (2:56) 10. Gonna Be Sorry (3:21) 11. Our Time Has Come (4:00) 12. Aurora (5:20) 13. Aftermath of Calamity (Outro) (0:30)
The deluxe edition tracks are said to be released later.
Hanna: Hey hun!
*kisses Caleb*
Caleb: Hello gorgeous!
Hanna: I still have absolutely no idea how Mona even did what she did. I didn’t think she had that in her at all. But, it’s just, every time I look at my mom… I feel guilty. I know she didn’t do it. But a part of me, it feels guilty that Mona’s the one sitting in that cell and not me.
Caleb: No, don’t be guilty! I mean, you did not commit that murder Hanna. And neither did Mona. But just relax. I mean… this is much better than your mo being in there.
Hanna: Yeah, yeah you’re right.
Caleb: Anyways, do you actually believe Mona is going to stay in that jail cell for good?
Hanna: Well, if twenty years is as good as that then yes.
Caleb: You know what I mean…
*Caleb gets a text*
Caleb: Well, that’s weird…
*Caleb checks phone*
Hanna: Um… Who is it?
Caleb: Oh my gosh!
Hanna: What? What’s going Caleb?
Caleb: My cousin is in town.
Hanna: And… Is that bad?
Caleb: I haven’t seen my cousin in over 10 years.
Hanna: Do you have to go now?
Caleb: Yeah, it’s kind of important.
Hanna: Can I come?
Caleb: Yeah, you’re just as important.
Scene #5:
*Caleb’s car pulls up to a café downtown in Philadelphia*
Hanna: You ready?
Caleb: You’re making this so tense babe. It’s just a visit. I’ll be fine.
Hanna: Alright then.
*Hanna & Caleb kiss*
Caleb: Let’s go!
*Hanna & Caleb exit car*
*Hanna & Caleb walk into the café*
Hanna: I don’t really see that many people here… Are you sure he gave you the right address?
Caleb: Yeah, this is the place. We could just wait a bit, it’s not a problem.
*Hanna & Caleb take a booth*
Hanna: So what’s your cousin’s name?
Caleb: Ryan.
Hanna: Oh.
*Awkward silence; Hanna & Caleb wait for Ryan’s arrival*
*Krewella walks into café*
*Hanna drops coffee and bangs table*
Caleb: Hanna? What the hell?!
Hanna: Holy crap, Caleb!
Caleb: What?!
Hanna: Look behind you!
*Krewella is talking to the cashier*
Caleb: They look familiar… But I can’t put my finger on it..,
Hanna: That’s freakin’ Krewella!
Caleb: That’s Krewella!
Hanna: Look!!!
Caleb: Oh my God! They’re right there!
Hanna: Does my hair look good?
*Caleb gives Hanna dirty look*
Hanna: What?! It’s serious!
Caleb: C’mon let’s go meet them!
*Hanna & Caleb get up from table; they approach Krewella*
Hanna: Hi!
Jahan: Hey!
Caleb: Are you guys Krewella?
Yasmine: No, we’re just three electro badasses that look a lot and sound a lot like them…
Jahan: Yasmine’s just kidding obviously!
Hanna: Shut the hell up! Wait you guys are actually Krewella!
Rain Man: Yeah, we are!
*Hanna begins to fan-girl & Caleb is in shock*
Caleb: Before I completely harass you for pictures and autographs, what are people like you doing here?
Jahan: Well we’re just going around the country a bit, picking out places to tour.
Yasmine: But Rain Man here had to get all softy and take care of some family business?
*Caleb & Hanna look at each other very shocked*
Caleb: Um… What kind of family business exactly?
Rain Man: Oh I’m meeting my cousin here for the first time! He’s adopted and our family has always had a pretty difficult time connecting with each other, so it’s been a bit crazy.
*Caleb is completely flabbergasted*
Caleb: Um… what’s your cousin’s name?
Rain Man: Caleb.
Caleb: Are you Ryan?
Rain Man: Yeah. Are you Caleb?
Caleb: Yeah.
Rain Man: Then I’m your cousin.
Scene #7:
Hanna: It looks like they are really getting along.
Yasmine: Yeah, Ryan’s always had some conflicts with the family but we get it.
Hanna: I can’t believe it though, you guys are… Famous! And my boyfriend is… Related to one of you!
Jahan: Ha, it must feel really cool. Because we are so amazing so I wouldn’t blame ya…
*Laughter*
Hanna: What do you think they’re talking about by the car out there?
Yasmine: Royalties.
Jahan: Yaz!
Yasmine: What? I’m just kidding.
Hanna: Wow you girls are even more kick-ass in person.
Jahan: So how long have you been with Caleb?
Hanna: About a year and a half.
Yasmine: Jahan, what you should be asking her is how long she’s been bopping to our music.
Jahan: You mess… Choke on the cream soda, will ya?
*Laughter*
Scene #9:
Hanna & Caleb: Bye guys, see you later!
Rain Man: See you tonight Caleb!
Caleb: Yeah!
*Hanna & Caleb start driving away*
Hanna: Tonight? What was that about?
Caleb: Well because my cousin is 1/3 of the sickest Dance group on Earth, we decided to have a little party tonight! It’s gonna be at one of their party houses!
Hanna: Wait!
Caleb: Yeah?
Hanna: They actually have party houses?
Caleb: Looks like they do.
Hanna: Well dammit I picked out the right guy to love!
*Laughter*
Caleb: Yes you did.
*Hanna gets text*
*Hanna checks phone*
“See you tonight at MY little party. Invite your friends too because this one will be a real cause to celebrate for! Kisses, -A”
Scene #12:
Hanna: Cool party!
Caleb: Yeah, thanks for inviting us Ryan!
Rain Man: No problem… Cousin.
*Caleb & Rain Man*
Rain Man: Alright we’re about to go on in a bit, so grab a drink or two… see you then?
Caleb: Yeah! Isn’t this party amazing?
Hanna: Yeah! I wish Aria would come though…
Aria: Well, I’m right behind ya.
Hanna: Aria! I haven’t seen you all day!
*Aria & Hanna Hug*
Aria: I wasn’t gonna leave you alone here.
Caleb: Hello?
Aria: Sorry Caleb, girl stuff.
Hanna: Are Spencer & Emily getting Mona out of Jail?
Aria: Well, they should be.
Caleb: I can’t believe she would seriously do what she did. And Hanna shouldn’t you be helping her?
Hanna: Yeah, but I’m here to support you and your cousin!
Aria: C’mon Hanna. Don’t act like you didn’t wanna see Krewella live…
Hanna: Well why are you here?
Aria: To support you, Caleb and his cousin? Anyways, Spencer insisted I come and not Emily.
Hanna: But Emily’s a huge fan.
Aria: Yeah, but I think Spencer needs to have some time with her, you know… alone. And Emily asked for a picture of them so yeah…
Jahan: Hey guys! We’re Krewella and we’re here to rock your night!
*Crowd Screams*
Yasmine: Let’s do it!
*Krewella performs “Never Wake Up” & “Alive”*
Scene #15
Spencer: Why the hell isn’t Hanna answering her phone?
Emily: Maybe it was because she’s partying right now at a freakin’ Krewella concert. So anyway, why do I have to come?
Spencer: Aria and Hanna haven’t really spent time together, neither have you and I over the last few days.
Emily: Are you seriously thinking that we’re drifting apart?
Spencer: Not like that… But sort of…
Emily: Whatever, I’m calling Hanna right now.
Spencer: Mona, is that you?
Emily: On second thought…
Mona: Hey babes, what’s up?
Spencer: Why aren’t you in the cell and why are you in the underground tunnel?
Mona: Why are you in the underground tunnel?
Spencer: To get you out!
Mona: Well I was coming to warn you.
Emily: About what?
Mona: Hanna called me about the Krewella party and she told me Red Coat sent her a text. That’s why we are going to that party right now.
Spencer: Jesus, can we ever catch a break?
Mona: Nope.
*Mona throws car keys to Spencer*
*They go to the car*
Spencer: Well buckle up girls, looks like we’ve got some business to take care of.
Scene #16
Spencer: Get outta the car right now girls!
Krewella: Thanks guys, we’re gonna take a little break real quick so hang! Be back in a bit!
Rain Man: Did you like the show so far?
Caleb: Yeah, you guys are doing great!
Yasmine: Who’s that, I don’t believe we met before.
Hanna: Oh, this is my friend Aria. Aria, obviously that’s Krewella.
Aria: Hey! Fan right here, love your guys’ music!
Jahan: Thanks, so we’re just going to go inside and chill for a bit. Wanna come?
Spencer: Hanna! Hanna!
Hanna: Spencer what the hell are you doing here?
Spencer: Red Coat’s here!
Hanna: Aw, crap.
Yasmine: Who’s Red Coat?
Hanna: Someone who’s after us.
Jahan: Woah, you guys aren’t criminals right?
Emily: Just the victims, actually.
Yasmine: Wait who are you guys?
Hanna: That’s Spencer and that’s Emily, she’s a huge fan.
Emily: I am!
Rain Man: Oh that’s cool!
Aria: Wait, is that Red Coat?
*Everyone turns around to the Party House to see Red Coat entering*
Spencer: Let’s go!
Jahan: Let’s come with!
*All the girls run, leaving Rain Man & Caleb alone*
Rain Man: You’re good with technology right?
Caleb: Yeah.
Rain Man: Do you know how to work a DJ table
Hanna: Dammit where is she?
Yasmine: She could be in the basement.
Aria: I see her!
*The girls follow Red Coat*
*Red Coat goes down the basement*
*The girls go down the basement*
Jahan: Dammit it’s so dark in here.
Spencer: We need to split up and catch this girl.
Yasmine: Wait, so why are we chasing her?
Hanna: Long story.
Emily: Okay Yasmine, Hanna and I will go that way. Aria and Jahan should go towards that spot, and you’re all alone Spencer.
Spencer: What?
Emily: Look, if we split up into two groups it won’t be enough.
Spencer: Fine.
*The girls part their ways*
Jahan: Lemme take this beer bottle really quickly.
Aria: Wait guys?!?! Where did Mona go?!?!
Mona: I’m right behind you Aria, thanks for noticing me.
Aria: Oh sorry.
Mona: Anyways, should I catch up with Spencer?
Aria: Yeah, or you could go by yourself I mean four sections is pretty good I guess.
Mona: Okay.
*Mona walks to find Spencer*
Aria: Wait why do you have that bottle of beer?
Jahan: Hey, just because I know how to sing doesn’t mean I can’t knock a bitch out here and there.
Aria: Hey, do you wanna replace my brother?
*Laughter*
Jahan: I like you, you’re cool.
Aria: Now let’s knock that bitch out I guess.
Emliy: Did you find anything yet?
Yasmine: No, Hanna?
Hanna: No.
Yasmine: So her name is Red Coat… that’s interesting.
Hanna: Yeah it’s even more interesting when she tries busting out your life.
*Red Coat passes by*
Emily: I see her! Guys hurry!
Jahan: It’s her!
Aria: Hurry!
*Spencer & Mona bump into each other*
Spencer: Well what the hell are you doing here?
Mona: Um… and hello to you too.
Spencer: Sorry, you just freaked me out.
Mona: Whatever, where’s CeCe?
Spencer: I don’t know
*LOUD BANG + SCREAM*
Mona: That way!
*Spencer & Mona run to the center of the basement*
*Everyone is reunited*
*Red Coat lays down on the floor*
Jahan: I got her with the bottle.
Hanna: Unmask her!
*Yasmine unmasks her*
ALL: OH MY GOD!

"Get to buying Biebs!!" - Justin Bieber announced as the Mid South dates were announced.
Justin was the surprise guest of tonight's U.K. X-Factor! He performed his newest Lead Single "Hot Right Now". The performance was impressive for the songs' live performance debut on U.K. TV. This was also after he saw Katy Perry there was doing something, and ran into her. Posting pics of the two on Instagram, saying "Great time! She's silly as hell!".
Justin sat down with MTV News to tell his fans a little short sneak peek on his new video for "Hot Right Now" premiering this weekend! The video will premiere on MTV's "Making The Video". He told a snippet of what happens in the video, and apparently the video is actually over 5 minutes and will have scenes to it. What he told wasn't that much of what actually happens apparently. He described a few scenes, such as a party and such as other exclusive things. A 15 second snippet of the video also aired on MTV after.
Krewella Release Never Wake Up Teaser #2 & Push Back Premiere Date
Krewella have had a lot on their plate this week, and it looks things are finally picking up with their new single. They starred in last night’s episode of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and now they are here to debut their new music video. Originally scheduled to be premiered this Tuesday, Krewella did not release the video for their latest single “Never Wake Up.” They took to Twitter today to confirm some news and drop some teasers: here it is.
So it’s clear now that they have been using graffiti in their music video. Their music video will also include many colorful liquids, and a pool from their first teaser shown at the Revolution Records Press Conference. The video will debut tomorrow at Good Morning America, and will hopefully follow a YouTube/VEVO release! Keep it chill Krew, the trinity is coming!
KREWELLA BEGIN NATIONAL BANNER ADS FOR “NEVER WAKE UP”
Just like Miley Cyrus, Revolution Records began to put up billboards advertising Krewella all over the nation. Their new single “Never Wake Up” has been out for two weeks now, but has been underperforming on the CAL10 chart. But this week Krewella is looking to sky-rocket on the chart, and these banners are sure helping out! Billboards have been added to 10 cities today, and here are some of the billboards:
Their new single “Never Wake Up” is currently holding onto a #9 spot on iTunes, which was a high increase from the #13 spot due to last night’s Pretty Little Liars episode. So go purchase “Never Wake Up” today and we’ll see what’s in store! -clevvermusic.com

I: Yo, we got the hottest teen star of the streets right now, Miley Cyrus here on the HOT97 Station!
M: What up?
I: It’s good Miley, you?
M: I’m doing so great right now it’s unreal… I’m just so damn happy!
I: Well… I definitely now why, you’ve had a crazy week so far. First you climb up FOUR spots, not one or two or three, but FOUR spots on the CAL10. Next, you release the most badass video of the year by a longshot. Then, you confirm you’re working with a hot star on a sick track. And now your album is dominating with just pre-orders. F*cking amazing.
M: It is f*cking amazing. I can’t believe all this stuff that’s going on right now, I definitely didn’t expect to be dominating this hard. I mean, I know I’m amazing but I didn’t think I was this amazing.
*Studio Laughter*
I: So I’m looking at albums right now, and your album ‘My Truth’ is #4 on iTunes with just pre-orders which is really good. And I’m noticing something very odd here.
M: What’s that?
I: Apparently Shakira has put her album for pre-order on the same day. And she’s calling her album ‘Truths.’ And the actual release date is on August 20, just like your album. Hmmm… I wonder what that says…
M: *Laughs* Well for the record she actually confirmed the title before I did, although I knew my album title since “Free Falling” even got released. So right now I’m just kinda neutral about Shakira, but I support her. I like her as a person and as a professional. She’s worked in this industry for a long time and she’s working very hard with this new album so I’ll be listening.
I: And there’s also another artist out there who’s kind of similar to you. Demi Lovato is the name I believe. I mean, you confirmed an album track titled “Hurts Like Gold” and then the next day Demi has a new single out called “Gold.”
M: I know that for sure.
I: So are you gonna try throwing some shade at her, or what’s the deal?
M: Well… I’m hoodrat but I’m classy. I mean, we’ll just find out who is more successful when the charts come along. If she wants to release a single which the one word is a word in one of my songs, then I don’t care. People can do whatever they want, I’m not stopping anyone.
I: Do you like Demi?
M: I can’t judge her because I don’t know much of her…
I: Alright then, so what’s with the album give me a little walkthrough here.
M: Ok.
I: Clearly your image has broken out of the Disney star and you’ve become more ghetto. But your single choices so far haven’t really been Hip-Hop, so what’s going on?
M: I wanted my era to start off very loud and very revolutionary. I think the mini-hardcore influences of “Free Falling” were right to make it the lead single for this era. And my new single “Bitch Like That” with Lindsay Lohan is more Pop-Mainstream and Rhythmic making it a great song for Radio. And as the rea progresses, my songs will become more laid back and trill. So keep that in mind because there will obviously be an Urban-type single and there are a good number of Urban tracks on the album.
I: Name some!
M: There’s “Turnt Up” that I did with Khia, which is clearly Urban. There’s the title track “My Truth” which is also more Hip-Hop than most of my album. And there’s “We Twerk” which is on the lines of Hip-Hop with some trap influences.
I: So your new album has a good mix would you say?
M: Definitely, I wanted to show a lot of variety. There’s some loud stuff, some chill stuff, some ballads, some Pop, some Rock, you know we’re definitely putting our best foot forward.
I: So the album is out now for pre-order, and it’s being released next Tuesday. And next Monday you have a new single coming out which is called “Bitch Like That” featuring the mega-headliner Lindsay Lohan.
M: I hate calling it “Bitch Like That (featuring Lindsay Lohan)” if I’m being honest. It’s Miley Cyrus AND Lindsay Lohan… or “Bitch Like That (WITH Lindsay Lohan).”
I: So what was working with her like?
M: We absolutely love each other, and we’re both about different lives now then our pasts. We’ve both had some rocky roads, but now we’re on good highways in our own lives and we’re both great artists so everything just works naturally with this collaboration.
I: Are you excited for your fans to hear the new joint?
M: Yeah man. And it's funny you said "joint" 'cuz I think "Bitch Like That" is addictive. I think it's probably the catchiest song of the year.
I: So for your album, are you going on tour?
M: Hell yeah I'm going on tour! We're still working out on the details and everything but it's going to be a great one.
I: Are you going internationally, or sticking in the States?
M: Both... It's going to be a very fun and huge tour but it'll be amazing!
I: That's pretty cool because I know you've been bouncing everywhere but you haven't gone overseas yet, right?
M: Not yet for this single or album. But everything's getting released in every country at the same time because I really want my fans all over the world to hear my music.
I: Anyway, you mind introducing the next track?
M: Yup! This next song is Gas Pedal, right here on HOT97.
*Gas Pedal Plays*
I: Alright I'm back in the studio with Miss Miley Cyrus!
M: Hey guys!
I: And if you just tuned in, Miley spilled us some pretty hot details so you can go check it at HOT97.com but we'll be talking a little bit more.
M: Yup!
I: So what kind of promotion you got planned for the rest of the week?
M: Well I'm covering Cosmopolitan and the issue comes out today so that's great!
I: Damn girl you better make the others tremble in that!
M: *Laughs* I can do my best.
I: And is your Beats commercial checking out yet?
M: Yeah, it'll air on my David Letterman appearance so that's pretty cool.
I: Ok, so what is your favorite collaboration on the album?
M: Well it's gotta be "Bitch Like That," but if I had to pick another one it'd be "On The Radio" with Macklemore.
I: What was it like working with him?
M: Man, when I saw that "Thrift Shop" sh*t I fell in LOVE with his material. He's flat-out brilliant and we wrote "On The Radio" ourselves, and Ryan Lewis prodcued the track.
I: So no Georgie in this?
M: No, Georgie's not working on everything. But he supports 100% and "On The Radio" might be his fave on the album.
I: That's great, great. So what is the relationship between you and Georgie like?
M: We're both very straight-forward kinda people. He loves my work, I love his work. We just get each other and he has 100% belief in me which is great too. And he supports whatever I wanna put out there, but at the same time he keeps me from being a total dumbass so it works both ways.
I: Did he have imput on this album?
M: Yeah, of course he did. Everything wasn't perfect, but nothing is you get it?
I: Yeah I get what you saying.
M: I mean there were a good amount of songs we made, and we had to let some good ones go. But the amazing thing is that I can perform them on tour, leak them, keep them for the future or do whatever. So if Georgie doesn't really want a song on an album, he's not gonna stop me from loving it and it existing. So that's what I love about him!
I: Were there any songs that you would put on the album instead of some on the actual album?
M: I think one song... But we never got into any intense fights and we never had major disagreements. But there was one song that I wanna put on 'My Truth' but I know why it's not 100% of a good idea.
I: So what you gonna do with it?
M: I'm definitely gonna save it and keep it locked until the time is right because it's a very good track.
I: Alright Miley, you wanna help us close this.
M: Let's do it!
I: Mic's yours...
M: This is Miley Cyrus on HOT97, and you're listening to my new single "Free Falling!"
Lindsay Lohan Jimmy Kimmel Performance Summary The stage was completely silent and dark, when out of nowhere a traincrash was heard and a light was shown onto Lindsay and her backup dancers. They were all wearing black and Lindsay wore a black shiny tubetop and black leather pants. She was sitting on a male dancers back, The music started and she got off of him, and started singing the first verse. She walked around the stage like she owned the place, as paparazzi came out of nowhere and screamed questions at Lindsay/took several photos of her, but she ignored them and kept walking. As soon as the chorus started Lindsay ripped a magazine out of a photographer's hands, the camera did a close up and it was Star Magazine, the headline was "Has Lindsay Lost Her Mind?" She and her dancers looked at it, laughing before she ripped it up and kept walking, She continued performing the song, walking a bit and dancing mostly, but **** hit the fan during the bridge. The performance's version had a dance breakdown, apparently, and Lindsay slayed the entire thing. The crowd went wild and when she was done she was sweating crazy.
