Madonna has made iTunes history, with the largest day of pre-orders ever for her forthcoming album, 'MDNA'. Her label Interscope confirmed the news and relayed a message from Madonna, in which she said: "Thanks for all the L-U-V!! from around the world." 'MDNA' is now Number One in the pre-order charts on iTunes in 50 countries across the world
Doesn't the United States completely obliterate every single other music market? Like you can add most of them together and still not even come to half of the US's importance... (Excluding Japan, of course!)

It is at #2 in US and top 10 around the world.
This is Katy's week, as it should be. I don't use the song or her anymore, but I can't believe anyone ever doubted her digital power. Gaga is the one who had a digital decline and hasn't been musically relevant since 2011.
Next week will be Gaga's week, hopefully! I wouldn't be surprised if Applause dipped out of the top five...l
