I think this time around she has to build up slowly her radio comeback... Radio doesn't trust her as she used to but this song is really catchy and radio friendly. I dunno maybe it's just me but I find applause more addictive. At first I didn't like Roar at all and now I kinda like it but it misses something from the infectiousness of Katy's last era. It is sort of like "part of me". Catchy but still something is missing. On the contrary "Applause" is a "just dance" back to the roots approach. I dunno...

To take You and I as her last major release (because no one wants to see or hear about MTN), HAC didn't even PICK up the song until a week AFTER the song was released on POP. And for Gaga to be spun on HAC immediately this go-round is absolutely impressive. Rhythmic, as hit or miss as it has always been for Gaga, has had good numbers too. Pop hasn't been staggering but let's not act like she can barely get airplay now.
