During BTW era Gaga really alienated herself from the GP. The music was different, the videos were a mess (except Judas). the GP basically HATED Gaga. Gaga got famous because of her club bangers and great hooks- something that BTW era lacked of. BTW era was such a disappointment for the casual listener. the GP needs time till they come again in Gaga and her new music. Give Gaga some time. This era I am sure that her songs will be more commercial. Althought I love Applause I dont think that it should have been the lead. I'm sure Gaga has something better in her pocket. The only thing I want is her to not put her art on the first place. She needs her commercial success back. Applause is a bop but the verses are killing the song IMO. Singing about ART and POP is not GP friendly. But of course she shouldnt sing about being ****ed in a club either. I think that Gaga will surprise us well this era. Lets wait and see.
