I was looking at some of the tour videos from the last shows and her voice sounded tired. She did 3 shows in a row, but she was still going for the big notes. She has 2 weeks off, so she'll have some rest

Kelly is just too adorable.

I don't know if you guys seen this, but I found it randomly. It's from her iHeart Radio concert in 2011. (Skip to around 3:45 if you don't want to listen to the speech).


I honestly enjoyed it even though most of the crowd were dead on their feet. Love the random spectators that were very enthusiastic (hell even two guys were into it).

And this is old, but I enjoyed finding it since I never really dug into her other performances in other places in BA era. Brit Award 2006 performance of Since U Been Gone.



She looked gorgeous. And her proximity to the crowd is my favorite parts.

Yeah at the Camden show (that I was at) she actually seemed really tired and vocally strained for the first half. She even admitted she was tired. By midway through she sounded much better.

Walkway was pretty amazing in person I must say.

Kelly's back on the front page of Yahoo. Looks like she decided to let the museum buy back the ring. Someone anonymous donated $150,000 to help bring it back. If I were Kelly I would've at least asked for more than what I paid for but obviously she's a good sport. All of the comments were going in on the British government haha. Gotta love those conservative yahoo users.

Ohh, I hoped Kelly would keep it but I guess it's just right to let the ring be in the UK. Although it is just a useless ring which isn't any iconic or significant for Austen's career or books. I mean till the day Kelly bought it noone had known about its existence... But Kelly is such a sweetheart, I was sure that she would sell it.

The TIU performance wasn't good (if you compare it to Kelly's standard), very shaky but promo is promo and it seemed the crowd enjoyed so I guess it ok.

The British government is being really ****ing stupid tbh. It's not okay for someone to buy and take outside the nation a ring that had no real cultural significance until an American bought it, while the myriad artwork and cultural relics that were pillaged from eastern nations like China remain in BRITISH museums and not, you know, museums owned by their respective nations... She's too nice sometimes.

Someone already mentioned this.... a lot of Kelly's songs are usually inspired by several people. I think with Kelly she really tries to capture a specific feeling and she'll pull things from several different relationships (friends,family,co-workers,etc.) to capture that one feeling she's trying to write about.

I know there's an article were she talked about every song on MD. I'll look for it later, lol. I remember her saying CIHAK was written about 2 different guys.

Aben's brother, Weiss, is the photographer/videographer for this whole tour. He's been filming all the behind the scenes stuff from this tour and the videos she's posted lately. He's a professional. Must be cool for Aben to have his brother and wife with him on this tour.
