Little Monsters are having a tough day. Roar is doing better than Applause in all aspects (digital sales, streaming, audience).
That's not true, and it's only been able to do so in some aspects because it was released to radio earlier. It's also increasing at a faster rate than Roar.
Are people really that surprised? Gaga is a huge artist, no doubt, but in the U.S Katy is possibly the biggest female currently in the industry. (Minus Adele, she might (not) pull an Alanis)
Born This Way was significantly less successful here in the U.S. Applause doesn't sound like it'll bring her back in the U.S but we'll see. The U.S seems to be over electronic based off of iTunes.
Longevity is what really matters but I see Roar doing much better in the longrun too. Katy has the HAC support.
