As people have pointed out before, the GP just woke up not too long ago and Katy is a new release, and therefore it will take Gaga longer to top her than it took Katy to top BL (a song which Gaga has already overtaken). She's doing just fine.

it further proves that with monsters only Gaga is not able to push those 2m album and single sales one after another. GP is still there with the BTW era, not as bad as ATRLers are trying to make it.

No one was taking into the consideration that most of America was sleeping when Roar was released yesterday but now Gaga is in the same situation ppl want to get technical

Everyone does realize that Katy topping iTunes was a much simpler feat than Gaga doing the same, right? The song at #1 when Katy took the top spot wasn't selling nearly as much as the current #1 is selling.
