I was genuinely surprised that on digitalspy for example 80% of the comments after they posted abouted about Katy's teasers were very positive and they offered constructive criticism. Katy's gonna make a huge splash in the stale pop waters this fall I'm 100% sure of it

Katy is gonna become even bigger. A friend of mine who is like clueless about music forums and what not talked to me on FB the other day after teaser #2 and told me "Hey, your girl is making **** exciting in the music world again." I screamed cuz he's military lol. He's right though she is making things exciting in the pop world again without trying to hard but still remaining classic Katy. Other girls just rely on their music alone but Katy goes all the way out and do cool things to promote her music which is why she's so successful and will remain that way. Her fan base is growing bigger by the day too so the Queen ain't going nowhere.

I get that it sounds generic but the production, the beat, the powerful instrumental and lyrics make the song very memorable, at least for me

Part Of God is everything my most played song of 2013. When I heard the demo I knew it was meant to be a single, it was too ****ing good to go to waste.

Yep. Blurred Lines' airplay alone was/will be probably big enough to hold off Katy. And I'm worried about the streaming component in general after it screwed up Wide Awake's chances of hitting #1.

I hoping the streaming will be better this time. Many lead singles have done well in streaming (Die Young, Diamonds, Locked Out of Heaven), so I hope the same comes true for Roar. Don't forget the video, too. That'll certainly help.
