Ehhh....I prefer public schools to private schools.The UNC system is good (although there are some not so great schools).Hopefully the idiots running the state doesn't do too much harm to them but I'm not too optimistic about that.

I cried because A LOT of my friends went off to school and that was the last time we were all together. My best friend stays in MI now and I see her like once a year. Another 1 of my friends stays in NY, another in Chicago, one in Birmingham... Like I genuinely miss my friends. I don't really hang with females like that and it's hard for me to trust anyone. I associate with a lot of people, but I only consider them my real friends.

My school's scheduling is a bit weird as well. We have 10 periods in a normal school day, but most students only go to class periods 2-9. Period 2 starts at 8:20am. 1st period, 7:30 am, is only for people who need extra class time because they spend a period on something like Band. Period 9 finishes at 2:25 and period 10 is after-school time.

You graduated High School?

Actually, my boys and I had this plan to do something unexpected at graduation to commemorate our leaving, but we were hungover as ****. So we just sat there.

I have 9 periods. I had chorus first period, but I would be so annoyed. I couldn't sing that early. I mean I DID, but it was just too much. The year before I had chorus 6th and I prefer that much more.

Oh you're in chorus? I'm not in chorus, but I sing in a (sh*tty) youth choir at church. I plan to join a REAL choir + school chorus this year. Which section did you sing in? I'm a bass (I think).

It really doesn't sink in until the first day of school and you see all of the kids getting on the ugly ass yellow buses. Until then, it feels like just another summer break.
