No, "Forever" was Huge. I still remember his Doublemint gum endorsement. CB was coming for Usher before the incident, and I know, cuz I luv me some Usher and was keeping an eye on CB because he was competition.
Now the way I see it, I don't have any problem with Rihanna bringing up the incident in public because, she's the survivor, and that's her right. No matter how I feel about CB, I'd be the first to tell you that the mainstream media is gunning for him in ways that they haven't with other stars that have done similar things, and I'm not talking about when he does something stupid, I'm talking about all those other incidents like the "battered woman tattoo" episode and when CB was being harassed by that white woman on twitter, and he responded. Let me tell you, the reaction on a lot of the mainstream sites and chat shows (particularly the ones that cater to white feminists) were spinning it like that woman was some helpless damsel and CB was this evil, black man.
Oh well she started his career, and she also finished it.
