Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on this song. Yet I can't say that i like it. I only like the guitar sound in the begining. And the chorus is, at least, listenable.
I feel like any good singers voice can suit an EDM song. Depending on what kind of electronic genre it is. There's so many of them really. The artist would just have to explore what sounds fit them. The same for any genre really. Stache was also a rough version, but I think the way she was using her voice on that song just didn't sound all that great with that song specifically.
I wonder if we'll be hearing this stuff mixed at raves and EDM festivals. Can't wait to find out.
I'm wondering whether Gaga's ARTPOP Ball will be one huge EDM festival with Zedd/Madeon etc all performing sets, there being a lot of unknown/underground acts and other stages with artsy acts and Gaga being the main act Imagine people not having to wait in line but just having an entire day of entertainment before Gaga closes the festival with her show
