Why does the site crash every time I try to get on?
Like, I barely get on because every time I do I get the 'ATRL is over capacity' message.
Is it a site wide problem or is it just me?
Ignore them, it's a site wide problem. It's been going on for months now.

its happening to everyone.. and it sucks because i'm in the same situation as you. i barely log on anymore because of the server but when i do i get oc for fifteen minutes..
Okay, so I have a really weird issue. Everyone else keeps complaining about OC errors, but all night, instead of getting any at all, the top 3 most posted threads go away for me and that's it. When everyone else is stuck with the OC message that's all that happens to me - I've been on the site nonstop all night without an OC error. I don't know if that's a good thing or...? Just thought I should let you know.
EDIT: Yeah, everyone else says they're getting multi-minute OC's right now and I haven't had one in two days, sooo...

I thought the admins did something to the server. Same for me, I haven't had but maybe one or two OCs in the last two days. But again like you my top 3 threads have been disappearing sporadically. I guess we're the lucky ones.

Weird... I also see posts of users saying they're getting OC messages. I haven't had one in days. I was about to comment that ATRL survived when Burqa leaked and believe me members and guests where aplenty when the thread was up...
I only get the top 3 threads disappear from time to time, I thought it was just an ATRL problem. Maybe that's our own version of OC messages. I liked it better that way.

I'm also 2011 member but I get the OC way too often. I think that ATRL+ members are somehow spared like Apollo said. That's division of the community - not cute at all.

Why not. They actually paid money, they deserve something back from it.
This upsets me because I was going to go a day without ATRL+ on the 11th before I renew, to see if getting a new subscription on the 12th would allow a name change earlier than 3 months, but now I have incentive to resubscribe immediately. Mess.
Most of the people who have ATRL+ right now are people who purchased it at a discounted rate in an effort to improve the server. Mine expires in 4 days; it's been 6 months.
This seems to be our better late than never reward.
