I understand the baby blue representing California Gurls, but if they wanted to represent Teenage Dream, they should have drowned the blue car in the video or something.

That would be great though.

She wore that dress during the performance of Teenage Dream on the tour (the opening song). Nothing really "iconic" about the TD music video like the blue wig. I agree that it doesn't work as well as the first one but I think that's what they were going for.

This... She didn't have to do the re-release... She could have released Hummingbird Heartbeat after The One That Got Away in place of Part Of Me, it would have been a perfect spring single! And then the summer anthem Peacock in place of Wide Awake! Then she could have done the re-release and release just Wide Awake for the Fall and have the movie come out then. Then she would hold the record instead of having tied MJ
