And there is no delusion from the Army, we are in the year 2013 and Beyonce hasn't had a solo top 10 hit in 5 years now, she may have been a bigger digital force in the past but NOW It's definitely Britney.
HIAM, TTWE & the S&M remix all went #1 on iTunes which is something Beyonce hasn't been able to do in YEARS.

Halo only had 2 performances NAACP awards and GMA. SL has outsold all Britney singles. Numbers don't lie. Britney isn't a force of nothing tbh.

And I see those 2 Beyonce stans are completely missing my point. She's the bigger force yet NONE of the singles from the 4 era reached top 3 on iTunes let alone #1? Right, yet WE'RE the ones who live in the past.

Then explain this:
Beyonce's 2 best selling singles.
Single Ladies- 5,228,754
Halo - 3 370,114
Britney's 2 best selling singles.
Womanizer- 3,383,093
Circus- 3,045,928
I think we have our answer...
|
Why don't you post "4" single numbers? I'm curious.

The Beyonce' stan talking about people living in their own world... there is no argument here. Britney is a bigger digital force.
Beyonce' is like Ke-dolla sign-ha. She had her "Tik Tok"-ish ("Single Ladies", though "TT" stomped that in the ground) and she had her "YLIMD" (Halo) but now she's had several songs roughly go Gold with a struggle to reach Platinum.
Since the digital era, Britney has seen "Gimme More", "Piece of Me", "Womanizer", "Circus", "Amy", "3", "Hold It Against Me", "Till The World Ends", "I Wanna Go" and "Scream & Shout" all either perform amazingly or at least really well.
It's true. It's Britney's fault she doesn't promote. But it's Beyonce''s music fault that she promotes a song a billion times on major rating shows and they struggle for Platinum.
With Beyonce you won't have a frontloaded week or longevity anymore. With Britney, you'll have longevity (bar HIAM) and maybe sometimes a frontloaded week (again, only happened with HIAM).
She is nobody's force, digitally.

Now I see some of yall in other threads bringing up numbers and or chart positions saying stuff like "look @ dat dis means dat my fave>>ur fave" but when they're brought up in this thread y'all try so hard to discredit Bey. Y'all try so hard soo many times but fail.
My answer is Beyoncé, numbers don't lie, do they?
EDIT: NOT y'all trying to infer that Bey isn't a force in 2013 when Britney's last tour didn't do so hot and all I see Britney stans do is go in threads and whip receipts from '99 out their ass crack

"Womanizer", "Circus" and "Scream & Shout" have all sold 3 million digital units and more in the US. "Till The World Ends" will join them eventually, since she actually catalogs when some new momnetum gets going.
Even with their older hits, "Toxic" has sold more digitally than "Crazy In Love". Hell I'm sure "Baby One More Time" has probably sold more than all of the 4 singles bar "Best Thing I Never Had".
Beyonce had "Single Ladies" really. This is where living in the past becomes ironic.

These two can cling on to 2009's Single Ladies for dear life though.
ddd at them now bringing tour receipts in a thread about digital power.
If both released their lead single tomorrow,,, y'all already know the outcome.

Kind of like you Britney stans clinging to Baby One More Time's sales? Single Ladies was only 2 albums ago, not 7 so..
PLUS this is about digital sales and when Beyoncé's sales are better, people still try to deny that she's a bigger digital force? The logic in here is none.

You're bringing up other threads, tour receipts, etc. Focus on this topic, and in this topic, yes Beyonce is no digital force in 2013. She can't even secure a tracklist out of 100,000 songs, let alone see an iTunes release.

Tie. Beyonce sells more but Britney charts more.
Basically, this describes them from 2003 on.

Couldn't agree with you more. - One would think someone who is against "living in the past" would be against using receipts from half a decade ago. "oh, but it was only two albums ago, less that BOMT and FF!! har har har". Who brought BOMT up in here anyway? Exactly, you did. Y'all ain't going anywhere with this. The only place anyone is going, is down and that's Beyonce with her updated 4 numbers. Like you said, numbers don't lie.

Well Beyoncé has bigger digital sales that Britney soo.. how is Beyoncé not a digital force? Britney isn't a digital force I mean just look at how Ooh La La did. You're going to say that it's a soundtrack single but I mean other soundtrack singles have done 10x better than Britney's.

iTunes:
Run The World
11-5-7-21-21-22-30-39-40-45-53-46-58-79-83...
1+1
16-14-24-31-38-45-63-70-87...
Best Thing I Never Had
71-60-76-94-88-95-99 (...) - 16 - (...) freefall, basically.
I don't even want to go forward with these numbers. Billboard, Oprah, American Idol, Target exclusives, VMAs, 80 music videos. Yeah, digital force she is!

At the beginning of 2012 Brit was only 2 million behind Bey in overall digital sales in the US. Since then, Brit has had "Scream & Shout" and Bey has had ???

Examples? And since this is a Britney vs Beyonce thread - I want examples of Bey's soundtrack singles doing "10x better" than OLL which I must mention is a follow up of S&S, another 2013 hit.
I will continue posting that quote until there is evidence of any.

And other soundtrack singles have done 10x worse. Your point?
