Before you scroll down, I'd like to thank the few people who stuck around for being patient with my ****** updates and constant lateness. I should not have taken this rate up during such a hectic time in my life, and I promise if I ever do another one (*groans emit from the audience*) I'll do it when I'm around. Thank you.
Now on to the Final two...
And the winner is....
RUNNER UP!

I'm really glad Ke$ha's most beautiful song ever release (next to The Billboard Remix ) made it so far in this rate. Initially, this was #5, but after P!nk and The Harold Song got a handful of 2's, 3's, and 4's, this song was pushed up by just enough to secure it in the Top 2 (But not enough to beat DWTIME.) This song really embodies Ke$ha's message - love who you are, no matter how carnal or "gross" or culturally wrong it may be. All though many like to criticize Ke$ha for riding on the "writing inspiration ballads that could be picked up by homosexual youth" bandwagon, this song was written way before she became famous. Shockingly, it's message still preserves, and I still think it serves as one of the best songs of her entire discography. Congrats, Animal! |

Wooooo! Finally done. While this isn't the song I wanted to win (nor was it even the one I expected to win, I knew it would be placing high the second the votes come in. I should have known, considering nearly every Animal on ATRL considers it the best song in her discography when it comes to emotional songs. This song received an OVERWHELMING amount of positive scores, which surprised me, considering her critics are far more harsh on this song, but I digress. This song is a really really amazing song. From the production, to the "I'm Losing It" wails to the backing vocals in the second chorus, one could say this is one of the most perfect in her discography. The bridge is such a highlight too, and the lyrics are a phenom. "When did I become such a hypocrite / Double life, lies that you caught me in / Trust me I'm paying for it / With every move I die / On the floor I'm just a zombie / Who I am is not who I wanna be / I'm such a tragedy / With every move I die." This song is just pop and emotional perfection, and it really captures the essence of Ke$ha's vulnerable side. Congrats, Dancing With Tears In My Eyes! |
