I just wanna show you
She don’t even know you,
She's never gonna love you like I want to.
And you just see right through me.
If you only knew me
We could be a beautiful
Miracle,
Unbelievable
Instead of just invisible
How does she have a song for literally every emotion? Written at age 12? Like???

When'd you guys end up adding Brazzers? lol
Brad Paisley threw Taylor Swift a No. 2 party recently to commemorate “Teardrops On My Guitar" peaking at that chart position. Decorations included a toilet bowl and toilet paper rolls covered with chocolate candy bars. “Brad was cracking me up. He had second place ribbons everywhere," said Taylor. “Then he proceeded to deliver this long and thought-out speech about the value of the No. 2 spot, and presented me a plaque. It was pretty great."

Who is Taylor Swift, and what makes her so inescapable? What is it about her that compels people to hang her face on billboards, on magazine covers, in commercials on television? What is the x factor hidden inside the core of her that has people coming in oceans to see her live?
It must be the face, right? The face paired with the super model status body type, the face and the super model body type paired with the guitar – that must be it. Add in a dash of high profile boyfriends fueling record after record, hit single after hit single, and you think you know every thing there is to know. A talentless waif who has made her way in the world simply because she was born into wealth, pretty and blue eyed and tall to boot.
And yet – she stands out like a sore thumb in Hollywood. We have trouble placing her among the Rihannas, the Katy Perrys, the Mileys and the Selenas, because she doesn’t quite fit there. We call her a pop star, one of the biggest in the world, so how is it that she doesn’t fit in with the women in what we consider to be her niche? How is it that Taylor Swift is selling a million records in a week, while her peers struggle to do the same?
We put Taylor into boxes. Carefully labeled. We decide who she is based on what the media tells us that she is. We see a pretty girl who dates a lot because that’s who the media peddles her as. We painted her as America’s sweetheart only for as long as anyone could stand it, and now she’s nothing but a serial dater who maliciously uses Hollywood’s most famous men for her own personal gains. Every thing she says and does is twisted in the form of pictures taken out of context, innocent words from her mouth turned into personal attacks on other celebrities, lyrics analyzed to be a “feminist’s worst nightmare,” - and the real kicker there is that she used to be a man-hating teenage girl. Now she’s an anti-feminist, ****-shaming, woman-child virgin who’s brainwashing your little sisters and daughters to believe that she won’t ever be anyone unless she has a boyfriend, and, God, no, don’t have sex, sex is terrible and awful and if you do it you’re terrible and awful, just like Camilla Belle and just like the girl who’s dating the boy I want to date.
We’ve turned her into a larger than life puppet. Mouth controlled by angry women convinced she’s shaming them personally, arms and legs controlled by the media forcing her to be dating this guy, and this guy too, and also this guy – she’s the ****-shaming **** of Hollywood.
Yet no one has ever stopped to consider that that is, without a doubt, ridiculous. We’ve created a villain from a Disney movie, a cartoon character, walking and talking fiction. The Taylor Swift that dates all of Hollywood and turns her nose up at any woman who has sex is fictional. The only place that this mythical Taylor Swift exists is inside tabloid headlines, inside feminist rants from women and girls who know only what they’ve seen in the You Belong With Me music video, inside paparazzi pictures.
So who is the real Taylor Swift? What is she made up of? What is it that her fans know that everyone else seems to be missing?
Taylor Swift is a woman. She grew up in the spotlight where every move she made would be scrutinized, so she acted accordingly. We think that she had someone behind her back, chin on her shoulder, telling her to cross her ankles when she sits down, wear skirts that reach her knee, take that swear word out of that song – but that’s not the case. Taylor Swift acted the way she acted because that’s just how she was. She liked the way she dressed, she liked the way she portrayed herself, and she liked the way her music sounded. She is a product of no one but herself. But now she’s all grown up – and people are confused, because she’s not blatantly singing about sex, and isn’t that what growing up means? It’s what Miley Cyrus thinks growing up means, it’s what Selena Gomez thinks being mature means, and these are two women in Taylor’s age bracket. So if she’s not singing about sex…she must be shaming other people for having it…right? I mean, in Fifteen she makes sex sound like the most horrible thing her best friend ever did.
Yet, Taylor blatantly sings about ****ing in Sparks Fly (give me something that’ll haunt me when you’re not around) and in Treacherous (I’ll do anything you say if you say it with your hands) and in All Too Well (after plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own) and in I Knew You Were Trouble (a new notch in your belt is all I’ll ever be) and, yeah, she’s dated a lot, yet everyone still wants to skip around and call her the perpetual ****-shaming virgin. I rest my case.
Taylor Swift is a woman who speaks for herself. She writes her own stories and shares them with the world, unafraid of backlash or rejection. She is a woman who does things for herself. She has control of her own empire, she designs her own sets, she co-produces her own albums, she writes her own songs, she has warehouses full of things with her name on them – perfume, Christmas ornaments, socks, t-shirts, blankets, and on and on and on. She takes things into her own hands, refuses to be shot down by anyone or anything, stands up again and again after being beat down by critics and assholes with blogs, shows up and does her job no matter how she’s feeling, does exactly what she wants no matter how many people don’t like it, dates who she wants, how ever many guys she wants, and believes in herself, while telling others to do the same. She is a woman who stands up and speaks for girls who don’t yet have a voice – but will grow and learn to use their own from Taylor’s example. She is the voice of her generation, the honest, no-holding-back voice who wants nothing more than to teach her fanbase to be themselves and to follow their dreams no matter what. Nothing and no one stands in her way. She’s the hero of her own story, and rather than teaching children to see her as their hero, she attempts to show them how to be their own heroes as well. She wants them to write their stories, to share them as fearlessly as she does, and to be proud of them. Are you proud of your story? Or are you so scared and angry at the entire world that you would dare to try and make a monster out of a person who’s brave enough to share hers?

I give you best video from TS but best song? Not even close. The epic masterpieces CAY and Tim McGraw stay unbothered.
