Honestly, is Beyonce being wise by not releasing this year?
I say yes, considering "4" all tho a success is still a under performance when compare
to P!nk, Katy, Rihanna, Taylor, Katy, Justin, Britney, Adele
It's no secret that Beyonce is indeed the weakest link
when compare to them considering 4's overall outcome,
that may explain why her last hit was last decade within IASF era..
she has a better shot at being the "Top" artist when the threat from those listed dies down,
Reason for this logic.. in 2008.. IASF was going head to head with
Fearless, The Fame, Circus, and Fun House and Beyonce did "not" come out being the Top
Artist or the Runner Up within those releases, and we all know what happen within "4"
so ATRL is Beyonce being wise by not releasing?
Or should she take the opportunity
of the intense competition and prove to herself why she deems HERSELF "King" by competing
"again" with the top acts of the industry

Lol no. There are different big artists releasing every year. How would waiting until 2014 solve that problem when it will be the same scenario with different artists? She just isn't finished with the album yet.
Tbh Spring 2013 was her golden window of opportunity - she had ALL demographics on board after the Super Bowl.

It's wise not to release during the holiday season, but you're talking about this year, so it's not wise at all considering she had all the hype with the Superbowl and Pepsi and only wasted a big opportunity by not releasing anything at that point.

Well, she according to her producers the album was indeed finish, she just wasn't satisfied
with the direction the songs were going

Nope I think, she can't release music cause the tour has more demand than expected, and Beyonce is not into releasing a song without a MV or a bit of promo... So Let's wait 2015 when the tour will be over.

No! She dun goofed by not having a clearly sought out plan like Gaga and Katy! I'm guessing their labels told them to announce the release date so it wouldn't seem as messy as Bey's. She messed up big time, she had the perfect amount of promo and is still on a big tour, it's all her fault.

IASF not coming out on top? It was a number one album. She was named Billboard's 2009 Woman of the Year. Is that really what someone who doesn't come out on top gets? Especially when all the others you mentioned are women as well. No, it actually proves you 100% wrong.
If you want some more facts, 4, an R&B album topped Billboard's 2012 R&B Songs List with Love on Top.
And then to answer your question, I doubt that Beyonce not releasing yet has anything to do with anyone else, and everything to do with her satisfaction with what she wants to put out. Beyonce herself said she only considers herself competition, and 4, although under performing compared to her last albums (yet pretty well performing compared to most releases today) is a hard album to follow.
