All I will be doing is listening to the song and enjoying it. It's cool if it goes #1, but I honestly couldn't care less if the song peaks at #1 or #100 if the music is good.

4 promo shots have been leaked/released so far
The single cover for Applause was revealed
The MV and song are going to be released at the same day 8/19
She's performing at the MTV VMAs
She's rumoured to be hiring people to be in a VMA promo being shot on Aug 8th
Some lyrics are released (look twitter/ fan assumptions from old receipts)
She said the song is super fun and filled with happiness

- She was OFFICIALLY confirmed to perform at the VMAs
- She revealed the single artwork
- The music video for the lead single will debut the same day with the new single (August 19)
- The pre-order date for the album/app has been changed to August 19 (the same day with the premiere of the new single)
- The app will be available WORLDWIDE for Android, iOS, Google, Windows, Computer, Laptops and any other kind of operating system.
- The app will be FREE, but you will have to BUY the songs from it.
- The album will also be available to purchase from music stores

The dislike bar for the music video will be pretty big, as usual, because she has the most devoted haters and even if the music video is amazing, the Madonna, Britney, Xtina and other pressed ones will do everything to get the dislike bar growing  . But that's nothing new for Gaga 
But does that really matter? NO!
Just look at Miley's music video. Who cares about its 50% dislikes as long as the song is smashing on iTunes?

She's not getting more than 30% dislike I think, she's not a Justin Bieber or a Miley who are known as a branded artists with little talent. She's gonna be fine

Gaga is going to be out of the country doing some kind of promo around October 17th time frame.
An organization someone I know works for booked Gaga for an event, but they said she was going to be out of the country promoting her new album and backed out of the event.
