What happened to the old rate?
-

Can I change my mind?
-No. Once you have submitted a completed ballot I will not accept revisions. If mistakes were made I will accept corrections at my discretion.

Can anyone participate?
-Yes! I will accept ballots from any and all members of ATRL.

What about troll ballots? Can I just mess with the base?
-You can try, but I reserve the right to exclude ANY ballot from the totals if I suspect trolling.

How am I going to remember to submit my ballot on time?

-Well..... if you are a member of the base and have not turned one in I will probably harass you incessantly. Everyone else is on their own.

What form with the reveal take?
-I intend to be a little non traditional. While the whole list WILL be revealed eventually I intend to do sub genre awards like "Top Rated Non Singles", "Songs with most top 5's AND bottom 5's", etc.

Is My Ballot Private?
-I will not be sharing ballots or exact scores for songs. I may share other general info.

I think it's because people don't want this to become one of those rates where all the singles are in the Top 10.
For me it goes Gotta Be You > One Thing > Kiss You >>> the rest >>>

There's maybe one or two singles worthy of a top 10 or a top 5 honor. Most of their better material is in their non-singles.

GBY is enjoyable; but I feel like I overrated it before.

I tend to agree. No singles would make my top 5.

Plus, I have little patience for flops (which describes most of their singles).

Absolutely. I've been in that state of mind where I realize I put too much store in the singles; whereas the nonsingles are superior.

That got me thinking. After your rate is said and done, I was thinking of doing a rate where everyone picks their top 5 performances (TV performance or live concert performance showcasing their best vocals or favorite moment) then categorically gather them for a vote.

It's lame, I know, but I feel inspired.

I do like their crooning on GBY though.

True; although I'm more concerned about them getting airplay with singles that don't go the WMYB ad nauseum route.

"Kiss You" and "One Thing" both went Top 10. "More Than This" was a promo single.
