I think Gaga might take streaming, too, if the song is good - she's shown promise in streaming back before the 2012 rule change happened, and she hasn't released a single in the current streaming climate so it's difficult to predict.

True, she does have that appeal, but as seen with POM she seems to have less initial hype, which causes her first week sales to be a lot smaller than Gaga's could potentially be, though still very strong compared to the rest of her peers. I'd say 500k for Katy's single. Gaga's is a wild card - I'm thinking anywhere from 450k all the way up to 800k. It just depends on how it sounds and how much BTW actually damaged her.

I wouldn't underestimate Katy's digital pull tho. Cali Gurls did 300k+ first week and that was coming off of Waking Up In Vegas/OOTB.
