Once she stopped releasing singles, her album died. She needs to release more than 4 singles this time. If the singles flop, at least it will still help album sales less or more. Promo singles would never hurt. Beyonce's 4's singles all flopped, but she didn't give up on releasing and it did help the album.

You are completely forgetting Bie, that alot of her early singles didn't have physical releases, hence low sales.and low chart positions, but the fact that they were popular and memorable...lends to them being hits. And Stronger was certainly a big hit for her in the US, and one of her few early singles to actually be certified
And the Britney era was one giant flop in the US, no one will ever argue that

"Sometimes" , "Lucky" , "Oops" and "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know" are all more known to the general public than "I Wanna Go"

Whatever, she already did it.
I think she needs something memorable/iconic that will influence the next gernations even more, not just high sales for albums and singles.

Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know...memorable?
No one remembers that song, the video maybe, the song no. If you went on the street and found 100 people and asked them to recite the song...i bet 99.9% of them wouldn't know what the hell you were talking about

The song is one of her most forgotten singles, now Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman is iconic despite being a flop

But sales are still the main factor to define if a song is a hit.
Some Memorable / iconic songs are not big hits.

NAG...NYAW is iconic. The video is one of her best. The vocals in that song are flawless. She looks great.
Wait, my straight friends once said, it's her best look.

Well if it isn't up for SALE, how exactly do you expect it to sell
Hence, why I said you are forgetting that alot of her early singles didn't have physicals in the US.
