Britney is more creative than the public knows. Blackout and FF were completely different albums musically before Jive changed up the tracklists with the usual dance songs. Then, there's Original Doll of course. She's been writing songs regularly since Britney album but unfortunately most of her very personal songs get scrapped or placed as demos/ bonus tracks/b-sides. She really should consider releasing an LP of all the unreleased stuff. It'd easily be one of her most critically acclaimed works. She is no musical visionary by a longshot but her output definitely exceeds that of Rihanna esp. when it comes to writing.

Didn't Gaga barely outsell Katy last era in album sales? I think they were both in the ballpark of 6 mil, right?
Thinking Gaga is untouchable up against any of the pop girls today is outdated. It's not The Fame Monster era anymore. The anticipation for ARTPOP isn't anywhere near the anticipation for Born This Way.
Aside from her tour (which Beyoncé may even outgross), Gaga got her wig snatched all throughout 2011, which was supposed to be her year. And when she was out of the spotlight in 2012 and 2013, just about all her records, from Billboard to social network to YouTube, got broken. Adele, Taylor, Katy, Rihanna, Miley, just about every major act snatched her records and achievements up like zombies tearing out somebody's insides.
And what does ASCREECHa's songs have to do with her life anymore? Singing about love when the only thing she can do is WRECK a home, Or is she just planning to set herself on fire one of these days? Will anyone care?
And don't bring up the first day deal because everyone does it now, it's standard.
