Gaga and Katy are showing signs of developing artistic integrity. Britney and Rihanna better step up. If they deliver what they delivered in 2011 (another same old typical rushed album, in Rihanna's case), I feel as though they'll be left in the dust.

sha(kiiii)ra is the most basic out of the pop girls, i can't stand her boring ass.
Shakira is anything but basic, she's by far the best songwriter out of any of the "pop girls" from the last 15 years. If you don't know Spanish then I can sort of understand why you might feel that way though, her English lyrics can be basic at times
