There really wasn't much they could've done, there wasn't any smash material on the album except TEOG. TFM had 6 single worthy songs on it in comparison. I do think they wasted millions of sales by releasing the album 3 months after the single instead of one month. All the momentum from BTW (song) was gone at that point.
I'm sure she'll deliver with Applause though.
