Namie Amuro Performs On David Letterman, Sits Down For A Chat
Namie Amuro stopped by talk host David Lettermans late night talk show to take to the stage a performance of Heaven. The performance began a little differently this time however, Namie was standing near the mic pole, with no dancers, her background was just light hues of many colors switching back and fourth and she started off with an acoustic version of Heaven, in which her vocals were on point and you could feel the emotion in her voice as she sang each bit, when the first chorus hit the instrumentals got very dramatic and climatic and the screens behind her started a slide show of the very few and rare picture namie has with her son. She kept the acoustic version of the song going untill she finished the 2nd verse, at that point a Little remix started playing transitioning into Heaven being upbeat in which namie started dancing as her dancers came on stage. Finally the chorus hit and namie started jumping and strutting on stage even getting some fans on the audience up on stage with her as they partied to the last bits of Heaven. Namie finished off her performance with another belching of "Heavens with you" in which balloons feel onto the audience. The crowd cheered and clapped afterwards in which namie kept thanking them as she walked over to David to give him and hug and start a little interview
David: Welcome to the show Namie, what an amazing performance
Namie: Thank you, thank you, im so glad i could be here tonight *laughs*
David: So Japanese singer, coming to america how's that feel for you?
Namie: I love america, i love it's music, its people, and of course it's food, like i really LOVE pizza from here *she laughs*
David: Then im guessing you finally tried new york pizza, i advise you to stop there *laughs* So i hear before coming onto the show you annouced you had a new single coming out?
Namie: Yes i did actually, it's called Hands On me and it's a very upbeat dance song thats bound to get you moving, i obviously have to move to it cause thats my job
David: You'll need alot of oil to get my hips moving at this age *everyone laughs* So how come you didnt perform it here?
Namie: It's not out yet duh! *laughs* But it will be very very soon, if you like i can comeback and perform for you again *crowd cheers*

Tegan and Sara visit Z103.5 Radio, talk Selena incident
Host: They've been gone for over a year and now they're back, and we're extremely to be the first radio station in Canada that gets to talk to them about their long awaited comeback. It's Canada's most popular duo, it's Tegan and Sara!
Tegan: Thank you, hi!
Sara: Hello!
Host: Welcome ladies, and let me just tell you again how excited we are that you're finally here. We've been playing the new single quite a lot since it came out and it's great that we get to talk to you about it now.
Sara: That's great, yeah, thanks for having us! We're excited to be here as well, and finally do some promo in Canada. We went to the UK first this time which was a different experience from our usual way of starting out an era, but it went over really well and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback over there. Now coming back here, we're hoping for a similar reaction and it makes us really happy to hear that you've been enjoying the song as well.
Host: Absolutely, we've been following your little promo run over there and tuned in when the song premiered, we were so curious, and I have to say the immediate reaction was just sheer amazement. We were all blown away by the fact that you chose such a bold song as the first single, we weren't really expecting that, it's like you came back with a bang.
Tegan: Thank you so much. It's funny that you say that, because that's what we had in mind that drove us to choose this song as the first single. We wanted something a bit risky, something expressive that stood for something, even if it had the potential to throw people off a bit. We didn't want to play it safe and pick a song simply because it would sound good on the radio.
Host: So if it was a conscious decision, how much was it influenced by the fact that you guys are on your own label now? Did it, or does it, affect your decisions in any way? Are things different now?
Sara: For me, it did not make any difference at all. We've always had a lot of artistic freedom as a band and got to do things the way we wanted. Our very first album was self-released so we got used to being in control right from the beginning, and even when we eventually got signed, we didn't let people take that control and freedom away from us. There was some compromising, which you just have to do when you work with so many people, but it was never the case that we were forced to do things we didn't want to or couldn't do things we wanted.
Tegan: Yeah, even if we were still on our old label we would have gone with this song as the first single. Being on our own label doesn't change that much about our artistic and creative freedom or even about being in control, for me it's mainly about the fact that at the end of the day, we don't have to stand up to anyone but ourselves. We can make decisions now simply based on what we, and sometimes our team, feel is best, and there won't be anyone from the label coming to criticize us for it or fire us.
Host: Speaking of which, Tegan –
Tegan: Oh no, no. God no. I knew this was coming.. (hides face in her hands)
Host: (chuckles) I'm really sorry, I wouldn't even have brought this up but I noticed–
Sara: Expose her!
Host: (laughs) I saw those pics of you on the red carpet, and when you came in earlier I couldn't help but notice that Tegan, you're wearing Sara's jacket.
Tegan: Well, I was gonna wear my own jacket but we all know what happened to my clothes from that night so it just wasn't an option.
Host: (laughs) At least you're taking it humorously, I gotta give you credit for that.
Tegan: I don't really know how else I would deal with it. It's something that had never happened to me before, and it was pretty much the only way I could come up with how to handle it. I woke up yesterday with all those people messaging me and telling me about that article which I had no clue about because I don't visit these websites, so I was the last one to find out and what else could I have done than try to make light of it somehow? In the end, I don't think it even was that bad. It was obviously not the best way to present myself in public, but I didn't hurt anyone, I didn't cause any damage, I didn't end up in the hospital and I didn't go to jail. It's not like I turned into a monster and destroyed the whole place.
Host: That's true, we've definitely read about people doing much worse. The media circus really seemed to enjoy this story though and they were even trying to make people believe that that little incident put a serious strain on your relationship. Sara, is that true?
Sara: Honestly, those were some of the most ridiculous things I have ever read about us. I'm not gonna lie, I was upset and maybe even angry that night, but that was just because I was being concerned about my sister. I wanted to protect her and I couldn't, she wouldn't let me, and that really got to me. And the fact that there so many people around us didn't really help either. There were too many emotions mixing together, we were exhausted from the hard work we had put into that week but at the same time on an emotional high from the experience of going to the UK and all the positive reactions there, I think we both were a bit overwhelmed that night.
Tegan: If this had gone down in private, it wouldn't have been a big deal at all. There just happened to be a lot of people there witnessing it and then wanting to tell the whole world about it afterwards, it was unfortunate.
Sara: And you don't even know the worst part about it yet, the next morning, my mom kept calling and asking all these questions about Tegan. 'Is she okay? Are you sure she's alright? Do you need me to send anything? Should I come down to L.A.?' She wouldn't let up until I woke Tegan and she talked to her, and when my mom found out that Tegan really was okay, she started asking me questions about the party and everything because she couldn't believe it had really happened the way it was written on the internet.
Tegan: I could hear her yelling through the phone, 'Did Tegan really dance on a table?' She almost sounded proud.
Host: Sounds like she was having one of those moments where you're supposed to be angry because you're a parent, but in reality you just end up laughing or whatever because it's too funny to even be mad.
Sara: I hate to say it, sorry mom, but that's exactly what it was like.
Host: (laughs) Well, thanks for clearing that up, sorry again for mentioning it but I think it was good that you shed some light on it and in such a professional way, too.
Tegan: Now that we've talked about it I'm actually kinda glad you asked, I felt like it was looming over me and at least it's out of the way now.
Sara: We're gonna start bringing it at our shows in a few years from now, to entertain the crowd. 'Do you guys remember that one time Tegan got completely smashed at Selena Gomez's birthday party?'
Tegan: It's gonna send them rolling, I know it.
Host: (chuckles) I'm sure it's gonna fit right in with your usual infamous stage banter which is so loved by the fans and basically a trademark of yours.
Tegan: Yeah, I guess I actually did us a favor by providing a story that we can always fall back on now when we run out of things to talk about or just need something incredibly funny.
Host: You have a fantastic sense of humor, just one of the reasons why it was so great having you with us here today!
Sara: Thank you, it was a pleasure to be here.
Host: Now before you leave us, can you tell us any news about the upcoming album? The single has been out for a week now and people have been constantly wondering how quickly we can expect the rest of the record.
Tegan: You'll have to have a little more patience, the release date actually still hasn't been decided yet because we're still working on some organizational stuff, but we're definitely aiming for August.
Sara: But there's gonna be a lot of news and updates in the meantime that should hopefully make up for it. The video for 'Youth' is gonna be released this week, we're gonna be on Much Music premiering it live in the studio which we're very excited about, there are gonna be some more radio appearances and at the end of the week, we'll be on Conan. So you'll get to see us quite a lot and the time until the album release is gonna fly by.
Host: That sounds great, as long as you always give us something to chew on I think we're all gonna be happy. Thank you so much, ladies, for hanging out, and we hope to see you again soon!

Marina and the DIamonds Performs on Jimmy Kimmel
Singer Marina and the Diamonds appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! today to perform her just-released single, "I Won't Miss You", from her upcoming, unnamed album. She appeared dressed in a figure-hugging, white leather minidress that showed off her wonderful figure. She wore a bride's veil over her face as she played an acoustic version of the song just on the piano with a backup bass player.

Ellen: I want to congratulate you for having your song Outta Control be #1, and I really think it's a great song and everyone should buy it. I am just really interested in asking you about this tour though, what is the overall theme?
Britney: The whole show theme is based off of one track on my new album, Blastoff. It's about how a guys love takes me to an alternate universe so special I never want to come back to earth, so I countdown the seconds till he blasts me away to the alternate universe, the song has a really nice dub step/ electronic dance beat. The tour is based off the song, my goal is to blast the audience to another universe with my tour, each night will be different and special to each audience, some nights will have a different intro, different set lists, costumes, etc. I want to take everyone to another universe, the future which is a very prominent theme, the past, a circus, and more!
Ellen: Any new songs coming up?
Britney: ….. This thursday, when I perform at the VMAs, be ready for a huge spectacle. Black Diamond.. Namie. That's all I'll say.

A group of dancers were surrounding Britney, Britney pushed them all away from her as she started to belt out the song while slowly moving around. Britney moved to center stage giving the song heavy choreography.
Halfway through the song a voice came on and said "Are you ready?" "Are you sure?"
The lights went completely dark.
Smoke started to come out of the stage, the lights went back on and Britney was on a circular platform with her neon light catsuit, spinning around as fire was shooting around her. The dancers were all wearing futuristic outfits as well, Britney pushed them off the platform and they did choreography on the ground, Britney attached to a string, started doing aerobics in the air.
She came back down for a cute pose to end the song, 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1
The stage went black and Britney was gone

Genetic Flop Records Signs New Artists
 
Genetic Flop Records recently added two new artists to its roster. Lil Wayne and Amanda Bynes join Paris Hilton in the successful record label. Paris Hilton tweeted that she's very happy to be reunited with Lil Wayne who is in a polygamous relationship with her and River Viiperi. Fans are speculating on a collaboration with Amanda and Paris given that they're both a bit Scandalous. Lil Wayne and Paris, however, have already collaborated on a remix of Paris' lead single for Appetite, Playhouse.

Scandal #2: Scandalous Lyric Video
Yesterday, Paris Hilton launched a campaign for her new single, Scandal, named SEVEN SCANDALS. The campaign aims to promote the single by uploading seven scandals, one everyday. Scandal #1 has already been uploaded yesterday and it is a home-made video of Paris masturbating while Scandalous plays in the background.
Today, Scandal #2 has been uploaded and it is the lyric video to Scandalous. But it is not your ordinary lyric video, plastered all over the video are nude shots of Paris Hilton, River Viiperi and Lil Wayne. The threesome is famous for their polygamous relationship. The nude shots were taken by famous photographer, Terry Richardson.

Paris Hilton Announces Spotify Contest
Paris Hilton announced on Twitter that she will hold a contest for fans on Spotify. The fans just have to play Scandalous for as much as possible on Spotify. Ten fans with the most play count by Wednesday will be invited to a slumber party on Paris Hilton's mansion on Thursday night. Winners will be contacted on Wednesday night.

Marina Describes The Invasion
While it was just announced that Marina and the Diamonds would be starring in the James Cameron-directed thriller, The Invasion, release some time in 2014, she revealed the film is almost ready to start filming for the actual film, though they have filmed four specific scenes for testing. She also was able to share a photoshoot that was done shortly before filming, testing the costume designs for her character, along with a still from one of the test scenes that she describes as "From the character's past".
"It's... really intense," Marina, 27, has said. "The character, Paige, is some rebel-rock girl that's tried different looks in the past, and she never really knew who she was... She finally decided this childish, teenage-esque look is perfect for her, even though she's, like, 23. Though she seems nice in most of the film, the girl goes hard... I mean, there's a scene in the film from the character's past where it shows her seducing this man... And it's only implied he's her stepfather or something, and she kills him, then steals all of his ****... That happens like two weeks before the story takes place. Anyway, in the actual story, Scarlett Johansson plays this dictator from an unnamed country and she comes in and tries to kill the royalty... She executes the King, Queen and one of the two Princesses, but one princess gets away... And that princess joins a group of rebels, including my character Paige and Jimmy Bennett's character Danny, and they're all on the run... Scarlett's just pure evil in the story. She ****s everyone up, kills some people and it's just... Really terrifying. In the script, it says that Scarlett's character, Alex, is literally supposed to do little things to torture people... Like, with the escaped princess, she rips off three of her fingernails once she finds her just before she... I'm not allowed to say that. Nevermind, ha ha... Anyway, it's just really ****in' fun to be able to do this, and I just can't wait... for it to be all done. The script is solid, and perfect, and just so... Just so James Cameron-right. It's gonna be big."
