A Pierrot is used in many ways. It isn't inclusive to this one piece. She hasn't said anything about Lunaire. I don't know how you came up with this conclusion.

But some things, Artpop (a new way for music- the same for the Pierrot), Sickness, Longing,

Redemption all this things contain this work)

It's a shame it wasn't hugely successful.

Its title track, "Silent Shout", is definitely in the top 10 best songs of all time.

She's not going to flop.

I feel like Born This Way, while it may have distanced the general public, solidified her fanbase to such an extent that she's basically immune to flopping this time around if the record is good (meaning I think 3 to 4 million at least is a good bet).

If it's both good and relatively commercial, I know she'll regain some of her lost fans, both hardcore and casual. She may never reach the heights of The Fame Monster again, but we can't be too sure of anything really. I'm just hoping for more singles success than Born This Way and perhaps a little more in album sales and touring (the former being if she's lucky - 7 million is getting more and more difficult to top in this market, but the app really could help her a lot if it counts).

No don't get me wrong BTW is probably my favorite album ever and I have a hard time believing that she can top it(artistically).
It's kind of sad that it "failed" like it did, because it was filled with records that could be classics.
I think it's really due to overexposure.
If she would have waited until, say 2012 to release it, the album would of been the hugest thing ever.
