Globe is alright but customer service ****ing sucks. We had Globe for 2+ years and the last months we had very intermittent connection in the area we moved in and then the last few weeks, zero internet at all. We called them several times but no one ever came to fix the problem. Then my dad got really pissed and called in for disconnection, the next day they were there trying to fix it but as a consumer, three months with limited to zero connectivity sucks. We switched to Bayantel and they're really decent. It's not overpriced like PLDT and the connection is very stable. It depends on your location actually. But since PLDT's coverage is much wider, I'd say go for them although PLDT and Smart are the same company.
Let me try Bayantel next year. We still have a 1-year contract to Smart. I guess I'll just limit my streaming and torrrrent.
