Gaga vs. Rih is natural around this time. Gaga, the undisputed #1, could lose her position if ARTPOP is a disappointing flop. Rih, the undisputed #2, is hungry to take that final step to the top of the game.
Most singers are more of an artist than Rihanna but that doesn't change the fact Rihanna has one of the best collections of singles ever and RR is one of the best pop albums ever.

Not surprising. Madonna was hated by most of other stanbases (Mariah's, Molester's...) in her prime because she was always the top bitch. Rihanna resembles Madge so much, that's why she's the first black queen of pop and 2nd overall.
