Def Jam released a statement that she was credited for her contributions to the songwriting process on UA. She did exactly what Bey did; change a phrase here, substitute a word there. Rih just didn't care that she wasn't the first name to be credited.

I was only joking (for the most part anyway) but aren't ghetto's meant to be like really poor (not just working class but where people are struggling just to buy the basics)? I mean if I struggled to pay for food I wouldn't be wasting money on music. I just meant being liked or disliked in the "ghetto" probably won't affect an artist's success

It depends on the artist's fanbase. For Rihanna, it wouldn't do anything to her. For a rapper (Lil Wayne as an example), it can put a dent in his career.
