Kanye changed hip hop for the worse. 808's and Heartbreak was an innovative album but it led to so many watered down copycats who are not as good at the hip-pop thing as he is. People don't want to admit it but Kanye is in the same genre as Flo-Rida, Nelly, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj. It's just that he's so great at it while the others aren't.
Lmao. Selena was not that widely known before her death. Aaliyah actually had some top 10 hits before she passed away. Who cares, though? Both are deceased and had an impact in their communities/genres.
