I enjoyed Emeli her album for like a week.

She's one of those people who give a good first impression but not much after.

That's why her performances keep boosting her songs on iTunes but she still hasn't had a hit.

Because her songs were EVERYWHERE.

Next to Me was one of the most overplayed songs in recent memory. It was everywhere, you couldn't turn on the TV or the radio without hearing it at least 5 times.

Well Meryl just won her 3rd Oscar, is a bigger box office draw than she's ever been in her career + currently one of the select few female draws, period, and is currently getting a lot of awards buzz for Osage County. If only everyone's career could be so dead.
