Yeah. Lots of people weren't familiar with the song. Not that I blame them. The only way someone would know EOT is if they listened to 4. Too bad because it's a bop
Columbia Records was right when they told her EOT should be lead single. Beyonce's stupid for insisting on RTW. It proves she's out of touch.
The diva, under self-management, starts fresh on an album Sony-owned Columbia wanted to drop this fall opposite releases from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry -- but that now seems unlikely.
8 is going to be like Circus. The bulk will be dance songs than there will be a few personal ballads/midtempos sprinkled in between. That's pretty much the routine for 10 years now. Her albums alternate from dance/ballad mix to full party/club album then back again.
Britney has been a part of innovative pop music, that is a fact. Toxic, a lot of Blackout (Break the Ice, Freakshow, Piece of Me) were ahead of their time.

I hope so. But I want some GOOD mid-tempos like Unusual You and Blur, they're fabulous and I think Britney so can do something like that again.
Pleasure You is amazing and I believe it was meant for FF so it'd be great to see songs like that for this album.
I told y'all, her era this year was scrapped and the album will come out next year. She needs to tour it as well and there has to be enough of a gap between this tour and the next for there to be demand, so the most likely release date is fourth quarter 2014. I wouldn't be surprised at a Greatest Hits release this fall though.
