There was one point in my childhood when I wanted to be West-Indian so bad.
My great-grandfather is Bahamian, but aside from that, I am African-American.
I used to CLING to that 1/8 Bahamian-heritage so hard.
But now I'm like **** it. America >>>.
Of course from the reggae to the dancehal to the soca. To the jerk chicken and beef patties. And the dances like the dutty wine, nuh linga. Patois etc..... Carribean culture is dope glad to be that
