Lara Spencer (GMA Interviewer): Welcome back to Good Morning America, Today we have a special guest. She's the newest pop sensation that took the world by storm after releasing her newest smash single "Spoken Words" and an astonishing performance on yesterday's live show of The Voice. The song currently sits at the top of iTunes all over the globe. Without further ado, Ellie Goulding ladies and gentleman.
Ellie: Hi! Thank you for having me and thank you for that lovely introduction. It's means a lot to me.
Lara: It's my pleasure, you totally deserved it! Now let's talk about the single for a bit. Spoken Words, did you write it and what does it mean to you?
Ellie: Well um.. Spoken Words is a song that I've written myself but with the help of the producer of the song, Greg Kurstin, whom I absolutely love! The song is actually quite personal to me but I wanted to present it in a very upbeat optimistic mold. It's about how love can save you from your deepest fears and troubles and I'm glad my fans were able to relate to it as much as I did.
Lara: I see, and the performance from last night, what was that about?
*Ellie and Lara laugh*
Ellie: Well, I sometimes feel like people doubt my performing skills and I wanted to showcase what I'm capable off. I came up with the idea based on a dream and it turned out great! And Adam Levine is pretty cute!
Lara: And about that? what's going on over there?
Ellie: *cheeks blush* What are you talking about? It was just a little bit of fun that's all.
Lara: So every single needs to have a music video, when can we expect it??
Ellie: We finished shooting it a while ago and it turned out amazing!! I'll definitely have it dropped in the next couple of days. There will also be teasers dropped before, expect one very soon!
Lara: Ah and we can't wait for it!!! So how's the album coming along?
Ellie: It's nearly done but we still need to do some finishing touches to it. The song has been doing well so I'm happy about that. I've got some secret collaborations on the album which I'm so happy about. A second single will definitely come before the album drops!
Lara: So can't we get anymore info about the album?
Ellie: I'm sorry but I can't say much about it. All will be revealed in due time.
Lara: *nods* In due time indeed. Well that's all the time we have. Watch Ellie Goulding's performance tonight on The X Factor! bye
