I mean, Xtina's career began way after Madonna's began and ended before Madonna's yet she could barely push her most recent album over 200K worldwide. You'd think a much fresher face in music would sell better than an older one. Guess not.

Madonna's career is amazing, I know that's a really obvious thing to say but the fact that we are still discussing her when she debuted 30 years ago is a testament to her success.
Yes some might see her as a joke now, MDNA sucked, etc. but her career on a whole is extremely impressive to say the least.
