she was HUGE (by her standards) in Japan when she started, even sold out the Tokyo Dome. But then she kind of faded although she is still known there.

All the Lovers went to #11 on the Japan Hot 100.

oh Body Language was a FLOPPPPPP

'Slow' is her lowest-selling #1 in the UK. Some of her hits that haven't reached #1 have outsold it and BL only debuted at #6. Still certified platinum (sold 410k or so).

There is a reason why they quickly released 'Ultimate Kylie' and BL only got 3 singles.

Why? I just checked its stats, it only sold 1.5m-2m I thought it did at least 3-4m, I knew it wasn't as big as Fever but I didn't know it did that badly...

I remember at the time I followed MTV and pop culture but I didn't know about sales figures and whatnot and the Body Language era seemed popular, I thought "Slow" was a big hit that was really well received

Nobody was here for Urbanlyie.

The one-off concert she gave to promote Body Language didn't receive the best reviews, BL is actually her least acclaimed Parlo album (according to the good sis Metacritic - 62). And 'Slow' was way too risky of a lead single. A lot of people didn't like it when it was first released. The critics liked 'Slow' but the general public didn't use.
