This confirms it. Beyonce doesn't take herself too seriously. She just doesn't try REALLY hard to come off as cute and likable and fun and personable and relatable and real like certain pop girls.
American Idol was a snippet of the video.
She performed 1+1 ( a promo track) later.
4th of July was Best Thing I Never Had.
She never performed at the BET awards.
Jimmy Fallon was BTINH and Countdown a month after its release.
The majority of the albums promo was focussed on the wrongly chosen lead single and its generic follow up 2nd single.

mte she had like what 5 performances/appearances after the release week? The album had poor longevity (for a Beyoncé album) because of that.
And I still fume at her performing 1+1 on Idol . Had she performed RTW it would've gone at least top 20.
Beyonce promoted for 4 harder than the last four Britney eras combined
Not that's it's a bad thing. I wish Britney had Beyonce's work ethic and was on her A-game as well

The fact that everyone that Duca dislikes always have "MASSIVO PROMO!!!1" but his faves never promote enough (even though JT had the biggest promo campaign of the year he still says it wasn't promoted )
LMAO, what? He did the Grammys (30 million viewers) in February, SNL (8 million viewers) and Fallon (5 x 1.5 million viewers) in March, and then Ellen in April (3 million viewers.)
And he had a Target that Beyoncé also had but I forgot.

It's the biggest promo campaign of the year so far definitely. The Grammys and a full week on Fallon alone
True.
Well, actually Rihanna is another one who doesn't seem like she promotes heavy. She does several appearances & performances for the launch of the era then after the 2nd single, she's ghost
She's kind of the polar opposite of Beyonce. Rihanna just lets her hit singles do all the talking. Beyonce's strength isn't in singles or hit songs so she must rely on media saturation/massive promo/dozen music videos

And 1+1 wouldn't have been labeled a promo single if it hadn't bombed.
