They aren't unimaginative
That is the point of the song, it's about going back in forth between yearning to call and being apprehensive, not wanting to get hurt.It is INTENTIONAL.
I don't have time for I Almost Do shaders.
Fleshlight is DOOO uninspired.
It feels like she was planning on hooking up for inspiration but she couldn't find any dick so she just fingered herself and wrote a song.
(The second verse is the ONLY GOOD PART).
It's the worst song on this album.

Just because something similar happened to you doesn't mean you lived it like Taylor, or in the way Taylor is trying to convey it.

I Almost Do's lyrics are BASIC. I'm not talking about what she INTENDED to convey, I'm talking about what actually HAS BEEN conveyed, the product itself. And not you praising the second verse of Starlight when it's the weakest part of the song (but still good though).
