I'm sorry but there is no way poker face, paparazzi and bad romance were more relatable than BTW, TEoG and Y&I. People couldnt even fully understand all the lyrics in the former three.
No, but they definitely understood the worldwide used terms "gay, lesbian, transgender" in BTW.

The former three are catchier than the latter three. Catchiness plays almost as big of a part, if not more of a part, than being relatable when it comes to the success of a song. I mean, Hell, look at "Gangnam Style". The hook & lyrics (If a majority of the listeners even bothered to listen to them) aren't exactly relatable things, but that song was a viral success.
The hooks in "Paparazzi", "Poker Face" & "Bad Romance" stayed in peoples' heads. There weren't majorly definable hooks in "Born This Way", "The Edge of Glory" or "Yoü and I" that could stick with people, even though they are great songs.
I was wondering why the last name was spelled differently, I thought it was due to the other account already being taken, but why the hell do a lot of magazines etc reference the one I posted then?
