She slayed the 90s with Mariah Carey, Emotions, MTV Unplugged, Music Box, Merry Christmas, Daydream, Butterfly, and Rainbow. She then got a little tired of all that slayage and took a 6 years break. She then had a massive comeback and released The Emancipation of Mimi and slayed everyone again. THEN she decided to take another brake and it's been 8 years since.....

ahhh. I was just thinking about that chick the other day. When I was in middle school, I believe, I changed the lyrics to her song 'Chante's got a man' to 'Mr. Palmer's got a man at home and he's so good to him.'
Mr. Palmer was one of my grade teachers and was clearly gay. Me & my classmates used to sing it out loud to make fun of him. So mean.
