Judas flopping is what caused them to rush release. They had to quickly try to cover up the second single flopping so that the era wouldn't be tarnished. It didn't work, but whatever.
But yeah, we heard too much of the album. I wouldn't mind snippets, but not several songs.
None of DJWS' work is over-produced. It's Fernando who overproduces and even Gaga at times. Seriously, go listen to his work and you'll hear that he's a good producer.
Pretty much.
If you guys are going into this era thinking she's gonna turn around and snatch Facebook and Youtube wigs, you might as well consider yourselves disappointed. Like, it's not gonna happen. The reason Gaga used to be #1 was 'cause she is what made social networking part of a popstar's career. Gaga and Bieber revolutionized how to use social media.
As confirmed by Forbes, social media means jack crap in the long run. It doesn't give you power or influence, otherwise Rihanna would be #1, but she's not. Youtube views are important for Billboard charting but that is it. Other than that, Twitter Followers, Facebook Likes, and Youtube Views mean nothing.
I'd be surprised (and upset) if the lead is anything other than a massive dance/pop song.
To be honest, the gap between Katy and Gaga isn't huge. The fact she's releasing a single before Katy gives her a time frame to possibly gain enough followers to pass her again, but once again as it's been said, it means jack.
Twitter followers is like the Hollywood Star thing. So many followers are bought it's so inevitable to buy the reward. It depends how much it means to Gaga/Interscope.
