I haven't been keeping up with the R&B albums/singles released this year so it seems like there was not much at all.
Yeah, I remember Luke James from high school football games, and I saw him at the Soul Fest. I was unimpressed, though he's a talented singer. I remember everyone was at the concession stands when he was singing most of his mixtape songs.

I'm actually excited for his album. Everything I've heard so far is extremely promising. I have a feeling that the album will be a commercial failure (moreso than Fortune) but I think this might be his best one yet.

I am really waiting for a male R&B artist to come about that is TRULY original.
Notice that we have no seriously talented performers aside from maybe Miguel who is too clumsy and awkward and Justin Timberlake who is just another MJ clone. We need someone who can captivate audiences with his talent alone - not with his good looks.
