I'm not sure where people got the idea that "Cake Like Lady Gaga" is trap. It doesn't have the same sound as trap music. It's twerkable, yes, but it's far from trap. It's alternative title was "Trap" due to the lyrics, but musically...?

They sound like instrumentals that would be used to replace the instrumental on another song. Like, they rarely sound like an original, standalone song. It sounds more like stuff that you'd hear on another artist's single's remix EP.

Zedd isn't my favorite producer in the world, but I've always thought he's had his own distinct sound. I've never heard a song of his and thought it sounded like a remix. And I've never heard a remix of a song and thought it was remixed by Zedd for any reason.
