And the iHeartRadio performance doesn't mean it's coming out then. That performance is in two months, they have to build hype and sell tickets early. Who promos a single at iHeartRadio?
The cats can be confident there will be a performance before that, probably at the VMAs.
I feel like Katy would slay American Girl better than Bonnie. It would make for a good second single, if they would have followed the TD single release schedule.
I think Capitol and Katy (rightfully) thought Teenage Dream was a higher quality song, would be the bigger hit and would be a much better lead into the album than California Gurls. CG's too pop and fluffy to really sell albums, TD should've done a much better job.
I don't expect the album before around the 21st or 28th of October, they'll want to benefit from the Q4 sales without directly competing with Gaga + co.
