For some reason, people just like to buy Gaga's albums. I mean, she doesn't need a bunch of #1 hits in order to sell and that's incredibly impressive. People try to act like the GP isn't here for her, but her ability to sell full albums shows that the GP respects her enough to buy her album over her contemporaries.
I have no doubt in my mind she will open bigger than the other girls. Once the ARTPOP era actually begins, the only girls will drown in her hype. It excites me to know the other girls' teams are probably thinking "how can we schedule around Gaga?"
I think the app + a good first single could get her that 1m debut. I mean, a lot of us fans are going to be buying the physical CD AND the app, so you could almost double a lot of her sales.

Same! Well depending on how the app works. If the app provides the digital files directly to your phone with the app purchase (don't know how ) then I'll only buy the app and the physical.
If not, I'll buy the app, the physical, and the digital copy. And if there's a deluxe copy, I'll buy a physical version of that as well.
