She will slay, and be recognized for it. If there's this much competition and she comes out on top, ATRL will be a metaphorical bloodbath. Hell, it will be no matter what happens, with the 5 biggest players in the pop game squeezed into one month and with a forum full of hormonal young adults and trolls.

If she comes out on bottom or something, though... ARTPOP needs to do really well.

I dunno about total sales but I can't see ARTPOP opening with under 400k unless the app doesn't count. The hype is going to start building with the first single and I think people will certainly be interested if it's a hit. Katy, Brit and Rihanna in November would probably open below 300k and who knows when Beyonce is releasing so.

I'm glad the album comes out when it does cause she gets a couple of boost because of the holiday. So the album will still be fresh in people's minds. Tbh I just hate Post album depression. When you listen to the album and then although you love it, you wish you had more to listen to. I know I'm gonna feel that way with ARTPOP. I just love Gaga's music.

You know you're crazy if you think the app will be free! It'll probably be more expensive than the iTunes version..

What i think would be genius is to give the lead single for free on iTunes after the VMAs for a couple of days (one week after its release) were still gonna get our high debut, and if its good all the ****ing US will have the song on their devices.. Radio will inevitably play it like crazy..

And the good part comes when the album drops, the hype would be epic and unprecedent, all the people that downloaded the lead for free will be hungry for more epic music from Gaga..

The app will probably be around $5... I remember when they did another Tap Tap Revenge GaGa edition for BTW and it was $5 but included every song.
