You never know. She is more dominant on a social scale than Lady Gaga. And
"Teenage Dream" did outshine "Born This Way." She could very well outsell "ARTPOP."

I think it will have similar success to BTW or maybe even a little higher because she took a break. Also she looks like she might be toning down her weird costumes and try to go with a more clean look for the public. Honest opinion about someone who doesn't even like Gaga.

People (and I include monsters in this) overestimate "social power". Facebook likes, twitter followers etc. are nice things to gloat about, but they don't really mean much of anything if they aren't spending money. As I mentioned earlier, Bieber has 42M twitter followers and yet couldn't even get 10% of them to buy his last major release, Believe. P!nk has only around 18M twitter followers but nearly 25% of them bought TTAL and caused it to vastly outsell Believe WW.

She has become a niche artist at this point appealing to her (admittedly big) fanbase so she needs something GREAT for the public to regain interest. She will flop by her standards, aka a Femme Fatale-esque performance, if the singles aren't good (aka Born This Way quality).

No. I expect the ARTPOP era to be somewhat like The Fame Monster in terms of the single success with a very successful lead single (possibly #1) and consistent top 5 singles to follow. The album sales will be similar to Born This Way.
Yes, ARTPOP will flop very badly. It will only sell at least 5 million copies WW, have only at least one #1 hit, and a tour that will only gross at least $150 million. She's done, I tell you.
