I'm not here for her whispering and I don't want her irrelevancy rubbing off on Britney. She can stay in Dubai or wherever she's been living for the past couple of years.
Fact: Britney Spears is the most respected "superstar" of her time right now. Everyone hated her in 2007 but in 2013 everyone realized how harsh the media treated her, how harsh every person judged her. They realized it's not her fault but was the consequence of being the biggest pop star on earth. Everyone wanted to bring her down, they succeeded. They thought she was through and could take her own life any minute but she didn't. She took those mistakes down and led her back on top now not with a HUGE career but with a completely balanced lifestyle. Not that successful like before but still enough to keep her in the spotlight and at the same time have time with her family. She may not have the greatest voice or the greatest dancing (she was though) but what people love about her is how amazing she turned her life around. Another popstar is on the downward spiral when it comes to the general public positivity. All secrets will be revealed and the backlash is just starting.
And may I quote one of the yahoo comments: "I think she's really a great person." Go Britney!
Janet and Madonna are for sure her biggest influences. Brit Brit is pretty much a hybrid of the two.
Britney is a modern 21st century southern country girl with her own swag, personality, charm and charisma + remnants of Madonna's draw for attention/controversy + Janet's performance presence and ability to reinvent herself each album+ paula adbul's non-threathening/airy/cheerleader (circa 1999-2003).

She can't compete with the vocal gymnastics LaToya gives.
She'd need vocal lessons just to achieve 1/10 of LaToya's vocal prowess.
Circus cover is her worst album cover followed by Blackout cover
The Blackout cover was a photoshop beginner mess but I loved all of the pics that were part of the photoshoot. They were really trashy and went with how the public perceived her, especially when most people associated a good pop star with a clean or artsy image at the time.
Yup. I'd love to see ANYONE have so much of their crazy behavior and personal struggles disclosed to the public at the magnitude that Britney did and still manage to come back from that.
