So, many Gaga fans complain about her bad looks throughout the Born This Way era, and a lot of people think her over-tanned fake look in The Fame/Monster wasn't too good looking either. With her latest looks and new promo shot, do you think ARTPOP will be her best looking era?
I can see it happening, but I'd rather she not go down that route. I mean, aside from a handful of shoots, I always thought she was pretty in her own way - which is an important distinction.
If she wants to drop the crazy-quirky-edgy vibes for a traditional "pretty" look now that it's in vogue, I'd still be here for it, but I would rather she keep spinning her image in a way that's unique to her and not just hop on the "stripped back/streetwear looks"-trend that has replaced the post-Gaga weirdness that mainstream pop had all but bled dry a few years ago.
I feel like the new promo pic is a good indication of the fashion in ARTPOP era. It's very stripped down, but also has that Gaga edge that gives it a unique look (ski glasses).
