I'm VERY surprised people don't realize this.

She didn't wanna even take the plane, and the sketchy Pilot/Airlines she was put on. For SAKES, her brother goes on all her specials and says "She always told me she didn't wanna ride that plane", and the WHOLE FAMILY is against Barry releasing her music. Wait let's get our facts straight nknkjnn. It was my understanding that Aaliyah didn't like the plane she had to ride on TO the Bahamas + she made it there fine. I thought that was what Rashad was talking about. I believe Rashad also expressed fear for Aaliyah going on a totally separate trip somewhere else and she was like "What will be, will be."

I really don't want to take that leap and allege foul play. That doesn't make sense to me. For now, I'm gonna call it negligence. The label was sued for Wrongful Death anyway.

OMG, I asked umichgrad (the Chart Guru) on "Try Again" and it's situation - and what it could've been. He said they were more focused on the Soundtrack selling, so that's why it wasn't Physically released. But had it had full sales and airplay, it could've easily rivaled We Belong Together as Song Of The Decade.

That just made me so mad. Her career was done so badly to the point she died.

So much JUSTICE would've been served had her/Mariah competed for Song of the Decade.

BOTH my faves would've had the #1/#2 Song of the Decade.

Ughh...I cannot believe they threw it away over some SOUNDTRACK sales. This makes me question where so many more of her singles would've charted with correct full release.

UMich also said "Magic Stick" with Lil Kim / 50 Cent went through the same situation. It went #2 for 3 weeks JUST off Airplay with no Sales/Video and had it been fully released it would've cut "Crazy In Love"s dominance short.
